|
December 7, 1941 The Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor
|
Ralph E. Styles served in the United States Navy during World War II. A veteran of the 'silent service' (submarines), Capt. Styles would enter World War II stationed on the USS Narwhal before eventually taking command of the USS Sea Devil in 1943. His recollections offer a unique look at the war from its origin and from the perspective of a much forgotten branch of service.
