We set up our traveling display in the M1934 tent pictured at left.  The M1934 tent was widely used
during World War II.  The British tent to the right, was also utilized by U.S. troops during the war.
A number of different items were displayed inside the tent.
Reenactors staged a mock battle for the public.

German artillery prepares for the Allied assault.  Shown below is a German Nebelwerfer, also known as
the "Screaming Mimi" or "Moaning Mini" to the American G.I.  Not known for their accuracy, the
"Screaming Mimi" sent a volley of six high-pitched rockets toward its intended target.  The ear-piercing
effect was psychologically devastating.

The M8 "Greyhound" Armored Vehicle was used in World War II for escort, patrol and reconnaissance
missions.  To light to be used as a combat assault vehicle, the M8 used speed to its advantage when
engaging with the enemy.
The Americans bring reinforcements, who quickly become the target of German snipers.
