EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Members of the 2nd Rangers Re-enacted
"We must remind future generations..., so that we will not make a wrong step again, so that our sons will have a chance to live." Wing Commander Guy Gibson, VC, R.A.F., 1943

As we work to create this monumental cultural institution, it is imperative that educational
programs designed to serve the public be developed and put into operation even before
the Museum is built. Once a subject taken for granted, World War II is slipping from the
public consciousness. We must ensure that the memory of that generation of Americans
who suffered on our behalf lives far into the future. To do this, we must start now.
Veterans History Project
Traveling Heroes Exhibit
Veteran memoirs and artifacts will serve
as the foundation to all future exhibits and
programs. They will teach present and
future generations about war and the
human experience.

The traveling exhibit gives us the
opportunity to showcase a portion of
the museum collections during public
